FPinfomart clients who subscribe to indirect redistribution in their contracts can now utilize RSS feeds to help redistribute content. An intranet administrator will need to be designated per account. Please contact client services for assistance.

Content that can be fed by RSS consists of: the contents of saved folders, individual Personal Profiles (news and/or broadcast results), any Current Events topics, any Industry News categories, and any individual Managed Profile.

To utilize the Intranet RSS feed clients will need to have an intranet that is enabled to receive RSS feeds. If your intranet has this capability then you will need to subscribe to the relevant content sets you wish to receive and you will need to work with your intranet team to ensure that the content can be incorporated. Article view pages will be co-branded.

If you do not have an intranet, or it isn't capable of incorporating RSS feeds, then our Hosted Page solution may be of use to you. We host a co-branded page representing each individual content set that you have subscribed to. You provide links to the page or pages to your indirect users so that they may access them over the web.

IP authentication is used to validate indirect users for both the Intranet and Hosted Page solutions. You may find our IP Address Information page useful in identifying the IP address of computers you'd like to request that we authenticate. Load this page on any computer which should be IP-authenticated to access your Intranet-shared FPinfomart content, and send a list of authorized IP addresses to our Customer Service group (helpdesk@canwest.com).
