Company Snapshots provide an overview of a company as well as its industry. The largest contributor to each snapshot is Financial Post Corporate Surveys, covering Canadian publicly traded and some private companies. As a result, only companies who have a Financial Post survey record will have a Company Snapshot. If you are looking for information on companies that are not publicly traded, please try Global Search.
A snapshot provides a link to a company's Financial Post Corporate Surveys record, as well as other related FP records (Dividends, Historical, etc.) if available under FP Advisor Coverage. A full or partial list of the company's directors is shown under Directors. Click on a director name to perform a Person Search.
Each company has been assigned a GICS number that represents its industry classification. Every snapshot features a Top Industry Players chart, which ranks the top 5 publicly traded industry players by latest revenue. Click on the industry name to display all industry players. A variety of related Canadian news are also included but only viewable in full text by subscribers.
You may search for a company snapshot by name, partial words, stock ticker symbol, city or province. Please supply enough information to conduct a focused search. You may not find the company you are seeking if your search result produces too many hits.
If you are unsure of the name of the company you are seeking, you can enter a word that is part of the name. The "all words" option will allow you to enter more than one word. The system will search the words entered in any order (ie. a search for technologies royal will match Royal Group Technologies Ltd).
