Latest News is a browsing module that you can use to read content from the latest issues of a variety of Canadian news sources. You may view the list of available sources by category, or in alphabetical order. Sources available on FPinformart.ca include major dailies, weeklies, newswires, broadcast transcripts, Blogs, Video and journals.
To view front page stories from the National Post, the Globe & Mail, The Montreal Gazette, the Ottawa Citizen, the Calgary Herald and The Vancouver Sun, click on Latest News under News Monitoring on the left navigation menu.
To find a specific publication from a particular region of Canada, click Browse News Sources in the left-side navigation bar, and browse the categorized list. For example, to view all of the newspapers available in Calgary and Edmonton, browse the Alberta Papers section. To view the newswires, scroll to the Newswires section.
To browse the blogs available on FPinfomart.ca, click Browse Blogs in the navigation menu.
If you know the name of the publication or Blog you wish to browse, click the link at the top of the screen for sources sorted alphabetically.
Once you click on the name of an individual publication, you will notice a list of headlines and lead paragraphs for stories that appeared in the front section of the most recent available issue of the publication you have selected. To view stories from other sections of the publication, choose a section from list of "Sections in this Issue" at the top right corner of the page
A 14-day rolling archive of recent issues is available from Latest News. To load a previous issue, choose the desired date from the "Publication Date" drop-down box.
Please note: If you are not a subscriber, you must purchase an article before you can view it. Add articles to your Shopping Cart by clicking on the checkbox to the left of the article and selecting "Add selected to cart" from the Multiple Document Selection box. Once you have finished gathering articles, go to the Shopping Cart and checkout.
